ReliaBuild 3D Extruder Carriage Mounted Limit Switch System

This is an extruder mounted X limit switch system for the ReliaBuild 3D printer, fully compatible with the Rigidbot RB1 and RB2 printers. It enables removal of the limit switch mount on the rear X carriage rod and allows for the use of a shorter limit switch cable connected to the extruder PCB. The "Switch Trip" file marked with RB1 is designed for steel frame Rigidbots, while the one marked with RB3 is specifically for aluminum frame ReliaBuild 3D printers. These files are not interchangeable if you want a precise fit. A hole in the bracket can be used to secure it to the rail. If printed with high-quality filament, the bracket will fit tightly without needing a bolt to hold it in place; however, I recommend using one anyway. Skip-Sense enabled RB3 and RBB3 printers already have a threaded hole on the X-Z rail. For steel frame RB1 printers, you'll need to drill and tap an M4 bolt hole. The hole is located in line with the rod connector on the opposite side. You can use this as a guide for drilling. If you use a 1/8" drill bit, you can self-tap an M4 bolt into place. The "Limit Switch RB1" file is designed to mount an RB1 style limit switch pointing towards the side of the PCB. Drilling all the way through will allow for an RB3 style switch to be mounted from the top side. The "Limit Switch RB2" file is used for mounting an RB2 style limit switch pointing straight up from the PCB. These files are designed to mount on the extruder carriage with bolts that replace the rear left bearing mount bolts using M3-14mm bolts, which are the same bolts used for the main board mount on an RB2 or RB3. These switch holders should be used on a Dual head carriage and will also work on single mount carriages but may bring the nozzle very close to the bed leveling bolts. For single extruder setups requiring more clearance, use the RB2 Single and RB1 RB3 Single designs, which provide 2mm of extra space between the nozzle and bed leveling bolts. The holes for mounting an RB1 or RB3 style limit switch are already fully drilled in this design, and it has a lower profile to distinguish between the two configurations. As these parts require precision fitment, I highly recommend using high-quality filament with the system found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1037301.
