I designed special connectors for IKEA's Ledberg LED lamp using flexible PET filament. The reason I created them was because the other models' male contacts were too rigid, causing one pole to push against the board and create an unreliable connection. These new connectors have a unique feature: their male contacts are mechanically separated, allowing them to act like two independent springs. This design ensures a reliable contact between the connectors. Additionally, the profile of the male connector is optimized for consistent connections, while the female connector's contact endings are designed to be easily fitted together.
