Relay Housing for PSU Control

Relay Housing for PSU Control

thingiverse

I built this enclosure for two Relays controlled by the Raspberry Pi running OctoPi. One relay turns on/off a desk lamp, while the other lets me remotely power on/off the printer's PSU. This setup is super useful if you're like me and worry about the PSU staying on indefinitely when not turned off manually. I use OctoPrint's action events to automatically turn on the PSU at print start and turn it off in case of a failed print or once the job is complete. One hole accommodates thick AC cables, while a smaller one holds control wires from the RaspPi. The housing likely only works with my relay configuration. It's secured using cable ties, with AC wires leading out to one side and control wires soldered to a PCB before exiting through another hole in the enclosure.
