Relay case / HiLetGo 1 channel relay
thingiverse
This is a custom-made relay mounting case designed specifically for the HiLetGo 1 channel relay board. The purpose of this case is to power on and off my 3D printer from OctoPrint using the GPIO pin 8, 5V, and GND connections on the relay. The Pi is running on its own dedicated power supply, allowing me to control the printer remotely at any time. The case simply snaps into place but also features screw holes for securing it with 3mm x 6mm screws if desired. Here are links to similar relays that come in both 5V and 12V versions with optical isolation: http://www.hiletgo.com/ProductDetail/1958599.html https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LW15A4W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I printed this case using PETG at 100% infill. The outer mounting tabs are designed for 3mm screws but can be easily modified to accommodate larger screws by drilling out the area surrounding them. Editable files are included in case you need to make any modifications.
