This adapter fits the airbox to a Mikuni TM36 carburetor, which has a smaller intake diameter. The stock "96 carburetor on the Honda 400XR is subpar, and upgrading really makes a big difference. This part was originally pre-tuned for a Yamaha 500 XT, but it works flawlessly without any adjustments to the settings.
