I had issues with the original 18650 battery tray after a couple of weeks, and decided to build my batteries into packs, and use xt30s instead of the spring tension mount that the quad was delivered with. This is just tall enough to keep the battery from moving around, and uses the included velcro strap to hold everything in place during flight.

A reasonably well dialed printer should not require supports, but my slicer wanted to make only single layers over the bridge where the strap slips through. I ended up running an absurd number of top layers (10 layers at .2mm height) to ensure it wasn't a single layer bridge that went straight to infill afterwards. This was printed in Paramount's CF-PETG, but any plastic should be fine, not like this takes any stress to speak of.

STEP is included for easy alteration.

Remove the 2 m3 hex screws seen from the top, loosen the 4 small philips screws from the bottom. Drop the new plate in and you should be good to go.
