Reinforced Triple Extrusion Corner
thingiverse
I was creating a frame for a project and decided that it would be much stronger if all corner brackets were securely attached. So I designed this! It's fully customizable to suit different size extrusions and various sizes of screws. The STLs I posted are specifically for 20mm extrusion, with M5 screws, since that's what I'm currently working with. I recently added a tee connector because it came in handy for another project. (Sorry, I didn't bother tapping the M5 screw all the way into the extrusion for the prototype in the picture, so they stick out on the outer corner.) Print Settings Printer: NovaCore Rafts: Don't Worry About It Supports: Don't Worry About It Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: You'll want to make sure you can bridge okay if you try to print with any reinforcement struts. If not, simply adjust that down in the customizer. Also, ensure that you don't make the struts too big so you can't get a screw into the outside corner piece. All pieces can be printed without support.
