The spool case is designed to fit snugly with extremely tight tolerances around Esun's 1kg spools. Due to overwinding by the supplier, these spools require a gap of less than 1mm to prevent filament from unwinding and becoming tangled. I've also revamped the Spannerhands design because my spools are stored inside an autoclave with the printer, which maintains an ambient temperature of 80 degrees Celsius for warping-free ABS and Nylon printing. This redesigned spool case is suitable for ABS material and large printing nozzles (0.6mm recommended) that pair with corresponding layer heights (0.3mm recommended). It's essential to verify wall thickness behavior in the slicer to ensure maximum strength and prevent hollows. The bearing mounts are designed to be glued together once installed.
