Reinforced Spinner for 3Dlabprint Piper Pawnee (Dusty)
thingiverse
Here is my design of a reinforced spinner for the 3Dlabprint Piper Pawnee. It's an impressive achievement that this redesigned spinner weighs only 2g more than its original counterpart yet boasts significantly enhanced strength, and as seen in the video, it passed the static test with flying colors. Check out this link to view the video: https://vimeo.com/260546162 There are two versions of the rear part - one is a full 2mm longer than the other. The longer version has the same length as the original spinner, offering users more flexibility in their design options. To print this reinforced spinner, we recommend using at least two perimeters, 30% infill, and a layer height of 0.2mm for optimal results. When attaching the front to the rear part, simply use the screws that come with HXT900 / SG90 servos. Alternatively, you can add an extra screw that goes from the front of the spinner into the prop adapter - many adapters have a threaded hole in the middle, making this an easy process. If your adapter doesn't have one, don't worry; it still works well without it. So go ahead and give this reinforced spinner a try! We'd love to hear about your experiences with it and get your thoughts on how it performs.
