I based my design on EiNSTeiN_'s "Bowden mount for Prusa Mendel". Kudos are in order to him for a solid foundation! This updated design features reinforced structure and a top piece removal, creating a stronger and more robust assembly overall. In keeping with best practices, the new layout requires a pneumatic coupling to securely fasten the PTFE tube, similar to the setup used on Kossel designs which are notoriously reliable. The hotend hole has been enlarged to accommodate my trusty old J-Head from the Mendel i2, and additional tolerance was added to the hex nut holes for improved flexibility. However, please note that the code itself was hacked together quickly and isn't yet thoroughly tested as my own build is still undergoing trials.
