With my original idler, I encountered an issue where it would eventually deform and lose pressure on the filament due to heat. This was a major problem that needed to be addressed. To solve this issue, I added a simple reinforcement to the idler, which greatly improved its durability and performance. I also modified the design by adding a smooth lever, which made it much easier to operate and adjust the tension of the filament.
