Remixed to provide superior support and stability for a serious injury I sustained on my thumb while recovering from an existing wound. Although I opted not to print the model with a double helix design, only including immobilization on one side posed some challenges, so I included both files just in case. The interior diameter of this cast is approximately 26 or 28 cm. Due to the fragility of these casts and the stresses that our hands endure daily, I highly recommend printing with high infill density. The original file already includes supports which will need to be carefully removed after printing, and the fins were added specifically for ease of glove changes in my workplace environment.
