Reinforced feet for infectedfpv26's 15 Watt Laserengraver (Thing 3371373)

I have experienced that the original feet look good but break pretty easy when light force from above is applied which can easily happen while working on the floor on the machine. So I have made some more sturdy feet which can no problem sustain more pressure from above. To mount these, you need 90° corner connectors for V-Slot profiles. These add even more rigidity to the frame. You can get them in packs of 10 including all fasteners for 20 bucks on Amazon.

This is a remix because I have cut off the original dragchain mount and molded it together with my feetdesign in tinkercad. The OpenSCAD file for the foot is included.

The dragchain mount is also modified in a way that by having it opened from the lower side you can fit in your existing cableharness without disconnecting everything.

Feet are held in place with M5 bolts and T-nuts. They have a universal design so you just print three without chainmount and the one with the mount.

Have fun!

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 3

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.2

Infill:

50%

Filament: Noyes PLA+ dark blue

Category: Other
