This is a remix of Timah81s "Cr10 40mm cooling duct with beefed up mount". https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2350437 Because i also installed the "Radial Fan Fang for Creality CR-10 by jneilliii" https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2237084 on my Ender 2, i found that mounting all that gear to the x-carriage only with the two M3 screws the hotend is held by a bit flimsy/wiggly. So i added an ear with two holes, now the whole assembly can be fixed also on the left side with the stock extruder housing screws to the threads in the carriage. You need 2x M3x20mm screws to mount the part together with the hotend to the carriage, these are the two golden screws which can be seen on the picture where the allen key for the 2 supporting screws is shown: As the upper right screw is a bit hard to reach with the allen key, there is a small hole in the front of the fan frame to stick the tool through (see picture with allen key). The pictures now show the final part. The 4 vertical holes on the left make sure there is an airflow to that side, as the space behind the mounting screw is now filled with the supporting ear. The right side has clearance to the carriage as before. For the dimensions/hole positions i used "Creality Ender / CR10 X-Carriage assembly by Ross_K" https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2789191, which is very helpful for designs around the hot end - thank you ! (The fan guard and LED-holder in the picture with the completed assembly is a custom thing i designed for some old LED-strip i had laying around... connected it in parallel to the Hotend-Fan )
