Reinforced cleat with through holes
thingiverse
Frustrated with the inherent weakness of traditional cleat design, I set out to create a more robust solution by mounting mine on angled screws that traverse through the arms of the cleat's horn. This innovative approach ensures the printed part is significantly reinforced by the metal screws that secure it in place. This particular model has been designed specifically for 4mm screws measuring 38mm in length, but I'm confident it will also accommodate screws ranging from 3-6mm in diameter and 38-50mm in length.
