The Blue Robotics T-100 and T-200 ROV thrusters (http://www.bluerobotics.com/) are truly outstanding, but they have one major drawback. The mounts that come with them are not robust enough to guarantee the thruster's stability and prevent it from separating from the vehicle. After experiencing several failures of the stock mounts, I decided to design this alternative mount. This mount attaches securely to your ROV using 2 M5 bolts, and optionally a 4 M3 bolt through plug that takes advantage of the stock m3 thruster mounting block holes via a 25mm diameter plug insert for extra stability. You will need suitable length stainless M3 cap head bolts for your specific application. 10mm M3 bolts should be sufficient for a standard flush mount. This unit also provides provisions for an upcoming forward mounted thruster "brush guard" shield thingy that will eventually be designed and published. There are two versions of the mount available: the 1_0_b file has motor holes for a straight mount, while the 1_0_a file features angle mount holes. The stronger the material, the better.
