The Blue Robotics T-100 and T-200 ROV thrusters (http://www.bluerobotics.com/) are brilliant, but they suffer from one major issue. The mounts they come with are not strong enough to ensure that the thruster does not separate from the vehicle. After breaking several of the stock ones, I decided to make this one. This mounts to your ROV using 2 M5 bolts, and optionally a 4 M3 bolt through plug using the stock m3 thruster to mounting bllock holes via a 25mm diameter plug insert for additional stability. You will need appropriate length stainless M3 cap head bolts for your mounting application. 10mm M3 bolts should be fine for a standard flush mount.

This unit also includes provisions for an as-yet to be designed forward mounted thruster "brush guard" shield thingy that will be eventually made and published.

There are two versions of the mount. The 1_0_b file has the motor holes for straight mount, the 1_0_a file has the angle mount holes.

Print instructions

Category: Robotics Summary

The Blue Robotics T-100 and T-200 ROV thrusters (http://www.bluerobotics.com/) are brilliant, but they suffer from one major issue. Stronger is better here.
