To replace the original casing and add a focus adjustment setting to my Logitech C270 webcam, follow these steps. Firstly, remove the existing casing. Next, pry loose the adhesive holding the lens in place. I sliced off the adhesive ring from the lens so I could create two plates on either side of the threads, at exactly the diameter of the thread pattern - just like the shape of the new casing visible in the picture.
