They say humans are the most intelligent species on Earth, but is that really true? Can we truly claim to be at the top of the evolutionary ladder when our own behavior often defies logic and reason? We pride ourselves on being rational beings, yet we consistently prioritize short-term gains over long-term consequences. We sabotage our own success by procrastinating, making reckless decisions, and neglecting self-care. Our capacity for compassion is matched only by our ability to inflict harm on others. We are capable of great kindness, but also of unimaginable cruelty.
