Regelbau 611

This model represents a real-life Regelbau 611 bunker built by Germany during World War II as part of the Atlantic Wall defense system. The scale used here is 1:100, which means every measurement on this model corresponds to 1 centimeter in real life. To create this design, some modifications were made to accommodate doors and hatches. Each component will need to be carefully aligned for proper printing, but it's not immediately clear how to achieve this alignment. Fortunately, the slicer program used has allowed for successful alignment of all parts, ensuring a seamless print job. A 0.15 millimeter offset is observed between interlocking components, which requires some precision during assembly. In terms of assembly itself, glue was only applied in two instances: attaching the ladder to the Tobruk and securing the hinges on the spent cartridge basement hatch.
