I had ordered this Regalo baby gate: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09YBV6PZP Unfortunately they neglected to mention in the product description that they only provided a latch for opening the gate in a single direction, which was the opposite of the direction I wanted. Rather than disassemble the gate and send it back, I designed my own latch based on the original one and made a mirror in my slicer. I also beefed it up quite a bit in case the 3d print was any weaker (note we're using this for a dog, not a baby... I wouldn't recommending printing baby gate parts). Note this requires a small screw, washer and spring that came with the original latch. I'm not 100% sure of the size of each. The spring has about a 5mm OD and it's maybe 20mm long.
