For a shelf with a glass plate, I have here once designed a holder which is intended to bring an LED strip behind the glass. What I already did once with a purchased holder, but the light of my LED I think did not go well into the glass plate. Too much light from the LEDs was shining upwards and downwards, so I've drawn something myself now and that's what it looks like: A holder which takes an 8mm glass plate and makes sure that the LEDs can only shine forward. What you still need is an M4 cylinder head screw and a nut for that. How you want to print out the parts depends on how well you handle supports and how good your printer is. I have printed the parts so that no supports are printed for the lateral guides. This requires more material, but all support can be easily removed and the parts can be assembled without much reworking. This is a project from and for the MachWas club.
