Refugees welcome

Refugees welcome

thingiverse

Hi there, I just completed my very first street art last week and it turned out really well. So now my friend Richard and I are starting to create this refugees welcome art piece that we envision could be 3D printed and installed in art streets and alleys where people will most likely see it and share it on social media. The idea is simply to open doors for refugees, thereby raising awareness about the refugee crisis in many parts of the world. If you'd like to participate, please print a family of your choice and print a door - there are plenty of doors to download. I wanted to get fancy, so I made my own, but feel free to use that one if you prefer. Also, I've added a doormat photo which can be laminated and glued at the foot of the door. There's also a sign to go over the door attached (check out the white sign). Enjoy this project and most importantly share it by posting the photo and exact location. Richard will create a map soon so people can see where they are and you can visit them. In the meantime, add the photos here and on Instagram using #refugeeswelcome.
