<p>Magnetic TicTacToe board and game pieces.&nbsp;</p><p>In the File section you will find models that support 5x3mm, 6x3mm, and 8x3mm magnets. Additionally, for each of these sizes, there are 2 types of models: “glue-in magnets” and “embedded magnets”.&nbsp;</p><p>The “glue-in” versions will have a hole in the bottom of the pieces where you can glue the magnets in. This is the <strong>simpler approach</strong>, especially if you've never inserted pauses into your print. This is a <strong>more advanced approach</strong>. Notice the magnet is not visible (ok, it's at least harder to see right?)</p><figure class="image image_resized" style="width:50%;"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/216434/rich_content/1e77c32b-1795-4174-bcbc-f55de344420c/embedded-magnet.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%2294f3b449-8fe0-4289-9114-34e0036c25b2%22%2C%22w%22%3A4032%2C%22h%22%3A3024%7D"></figure><p><strong>Quantities to print:</strong><br>1 board, 5 X's, 5 O's, and 5-10 circular “win” pieces.</p><p><strong>Slicer settings:</strong><br>Default slicer settings @ .2mm layer height.&nbsp;</p><p>A color change on the X &amp; O game pieces will help the letters stand out more.</p><p>A brim might be required for the win pieces if you do not have great bed adhesion.</p><p>The “embedded magnets” models will all require you to insert a manual pause right before the magnet hole is covered up so that you can embed the magnets into the print.</p><p><strong>Note:</strong></p><p>The “win” pieces are used to keep track of how many times each player wins (green pieces in the photos and video).</p><p><strong>Video:</strong></p><p>I noticed I was having trouble grabbing the pieces and so increased the size of the little prongs by an additional 2mm since recording this.</p><figure class="media"><oembed url="https://youtu.be/mBv1QD_cIyA"></oembed></figure><p><strong>Updates</strong></p><p>2022-05-31: Added support for more magnet sizes</p><p>2022-06-02: Adding variants to support embedding the magnets instead of gluing them in.</p>
