Refrigerator Thermometer Stands
thingiverse
Refrigerator thermometers from the hardware store slide into these stands to improve stability or to allow them to be viewed from above when placed in the cheese drawer or bottom freezer. The end of the metal base slides under the rails on the printed stand to provide a snug fit. I found 2 problems with the thermometers inside my refrigerator: 1. They would constantly tip over due to the center of gravity being so close to the front edge. Any light tap or if the doors were shut with any force would knock them over. 2. The dial is not easily visible when placed in the cheese drawer or bottom freezer. My solution was to design a stand that would stabilize the thermometer by extending the base forward, and to design another stand that would allow the dial to be viewed from the top. I set the brim width to 10 mm. The top facing stand does not require any special settings.
