Refrigerator Knob
thingiverse
We were defrosting our workplace refrigerator when disaster struck – we cracked the temperature control dial's crucial handle. In that moment, we needed a knob specifically engineered with the pivotal shaft 'D' aligned alongside the pointing arrow; unfortunately, all commercially available dials boasted handles perpendicular to their indicating pointers.\nDetermined not to give up, I decided to create a customized dial utilizing the 3D model found on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:54024, then skillfully modified one of its distinguishing finger ridges into the desired pointer, neatly aligned parallel to shaft 'D'.
