Refrigerator and Freezer Monitor
thingiverse
There are two designs included with this make, both feature a waterproof temperature probe and an ambient temperature and humidity sensor. One of them also includes an ambient light meter, but it's tagged as "Garage Refrigerator Monitor." Either design can be used for any purpose, that's how I have them configured. I created a small hole in the door seal of the freezer and refrigerator so I could snake the waterproof temperature probe through the seal without compromising the seal. These devices require no programming if you use ESPEasy. You can find more information and download the software from https://www.letscontrolit.com/wiki/index.php/ESPEasy#Get_started. **Garage Refrigerator Monitor** Displays the following information: - Device name - Ambient Temperature - Humidity - Ambient Light LUX - Refrigerator Temperature - IP address **Hardware Required:** - WeMos D1 Mini Microcontroller - 0.96” OLED Display - BH1750 Light Sensor Module - DHT22 Shield for WeMos D1 - DS18b20 Waterproof Temperature Sensor - Tripler Base (standard version) **Software Used:** - ESPEasy (build 147 or Mega) **Garage Freezer Monitor** Displays the following information: - Device name - Ambient Temperature - Ambient Humidity - Freezer Temperature **Hardware Required** - WeMos D1 Mini Microcontroller - 0.66” OLED Shield - DHT22 Shield for WeMos D1 - DS18b20 Waterproof Temperature Sensor - Tripler Base (standard version) **Software Used** - ESPEasy (build 147 or Mega)
