The refractive properties of plastic and glass are distinctly different, impacting the way light passes through these materials. Plastic tends to have a greater degree of refraction than glass, causing objects viewed through it to appear distorted or bent. Conversely, glass provides a clearer view with less distortion due to its lower level of refraction.
