Reforma Giants - Mexico City pt. 2
myminifactory
¡Bienvenidos a CDMX! As an homage to Mexico's vibrant capital city, MiniWorld 3D proudly showcases the most comprehensive collection of its iconic landmarks and famous buildings! This massive project demands attention, so we're breaking it down into manageable parts, each featuring a few structures tied together by a common theme. Part 2 focuses on the towering skyscrapers lining Reforma avenue, modern marvels that stand as some of Mexico City's and all Latin America's tallest structures. The Torre Mayor, Torre Reforma, and Torre BBVA take center stage here - with a fourth tower soon to rise from the ground! We'll keep you updated on its progress. The first of these giants to rise was Torre Mayor (739.5 ft / 225m), which, for a time, dominated the city's skyline with its innovative X-shaped internal structures designed to withstand Mexico City's frequent and powerful earthquakes. As the years passed, more skyscrapers sprouted up around it along Reforma avenue, transforming this stretch into one of Mexico City's key financial sectors - a bustling hub of hotels, major corporate headquarters, embassies, museums, and more. Torre Reforma (currently the tallest at 807 ft. / 246m) shares its land lot with an historic building that has been preserved, so its ground floor wraps around this protected structure before shooting upwards in a majestic display. It's situated right next to Torre Mayor. Torre BBVA Bancomer (771 ft. / 235m) serves as the headquarters for Mexico of international bank BBVA. Every inch of the building is used by this corporation, including an annex not included in our 3D model - located directly across from Torre Mayor and Reforma. All the models in MiniWorld 3D's Mexico City series are crafted to scale with each other, allowing you to easily compare their heights and sizes. MiniWorld 3D is thrilled to bring these structures to life and put a smile on the faces of all residents of Mexico City!
