The Gun Reflector Sight of Spitfire and Hurricane planes underwent modifications, based on the British Barr&Strout G.M.2 (Mark II in R.A.F.). Distinctive features include removal of range and span dials from the gunsight and a unique bulb holder at sight's base that holds two bulbs. If one bulb burns out, simply rotate the holder 180 degrees to access the spare bulb - more efficient than British design. This sight was utilized in Boomerang planes and likely other CAC aircraft too.
