I designed this object using Tinkercad, a popular digital modeling tool. To create its intricate design, I employed an image generator that inverted the Reef Ball Foundation's logo, then cleaned up the result to select colors. This unique plaque can be printed in plastic and later painted with logo colors, sealed with polyurethane for protection. Alternatively, you can print it with a bronze or copper fill and subject it to a two-day chlorine bleach bath, followed by sealing with polyurethane to preserve its patina. For underwater use on Reef Ball-designed artificial reefs, however, printing in bronze is essential, and it's crucial not to seal the plaque, as this would hinder its ability to develop a natural patina. When designing for public aquariums or displays featuring free display Reef Balls provided by the Reef Ball Foundation, consider scaling your model according to your desired size using slicing software. For most applications and standard desktop 3D printers, printing at maximum capacity is recommended.
