I designed a small sand sifter specifically for my reef tank, capable of separating particles in the sand larger than .125 inches (1/8th inch) with ease. The hold for the rod measures .33 inches but can be easily drilled out to accommodate a larger diameter rod. Post-processing this printed item proved to be an unwieldy task, so I opted to split it into five manageable parts that can be printed individually and then super-glued together. This approach saved me both time and effort in the long run.
