The reef-pi project is an open-source aquarium controller based on Raspberry Pi, currently being developed by Ranjib on Reef2Reef. Visit the discussion thread at https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/reef-pi-an-opensource-reef-tank-controller-based-on-raspberry-pi.289256 to learn more. The 3D printable designs for this project consist of a main housing and an 8 socket power board. The main brain is available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3659860, while the F360 files allow users to modify and remix these designs as needed. These parts can be printed on any printer with a build volume of more than 200mm x 200mm. The 8 Socket Power Board is designed for easy assembly, requiring only four parts that are glued or "welded" together using a soldering iron or 3D printing pen. The top and bottom parts are held in place by M3 bolts. An optional logo and text plate can also be added. Mounting holes on the power board allow users to install an 8-channel relay, available at https://www.littlebirdelectronics.com.au/8-channels-5v-relay-module, as well as a 240V AC to 5V DC buck converter from https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/AC-DC-5V-3A-Low-Ripple-EMI-Isolated-Step-down-Switch-Power-Module-Buck-Converter-/201597729719?hash=item2ef0293bb7. Additional mounting holes enable users to install 8 universal panel-mounted AC sockets from https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/5x-Black-AU-EU-UK-US-AC-250V-13A-Socket-Panel-Mounted-Adapter-Universal-Plug-/252062129473?hash=item3ab012dd41, an AC socket from https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DC-022-Power-Outlet-Jack-Socket-Connector-5-5x2-1mm-3-in-1-Fuse-AC-250V-10A-/192184888076?var=&hash=item0, a DC barrel jack from https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/10PCS-Metal-DC-Power-Supply-Socket-Panel-Mount-Female-Jack-Connector-5-5-x-2-1mm-/391642099894?hash=item5b2fb030b6, and an RJ-45 keystone jack from https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/25pcs-180-Degree-Angle-RJ45-UTP-Keystone-Wall-Jack-Coupler-Adapter-Cat6-/282353800189?hash=item41bd9913fd. This project is still in progress, and the power board has not yet been fully tested. A housing for a light controller & pH module will be uploaded when it is designed.
