Reduced Barrier AC Hose Plug

I sought a solution to safeguard new hoses during aftermarket air conditioning system installations, as well as shield open systems from damage. Not finding a suitable product on the market, I turned to Fusion 360 and, after several trial runs, successfully created a functional prototype. These designs were tested using Burgaflex reduced barrier hose, but they can be applied universally to any reduced barrier air conditioning hoses. To ensure a secure fit, the plugs should have a moderate friction fit when inserted into the hose, preventing them from falling out unexpectedly. The o-ring groove is designed to accommodate an appropriate-sized o-ring, creating a watertight seal.
