RedRotor RC Strider Camera protection
thingiverse
Human error forced a camera wire to break against the connector, making repair impossible. Determined to safeguard my camera, I took it upon myself to design and create a protective shield around it. To save weight while showcasing a sleek design, I chose to recreate the distinctive "V" shape from the Strider logo. The protection scheme utilizes existing spacers, requiring only a simple slide-on installation. Although holes in the protection were intentionally enlarged to match spacers' diameters, my printer's tendency to overfill necessitated larger openings, obviating the need for post-processing adjustments. Print Settings Rafts: None are necessary. Supports: Ignoring this option will yield optimal results. Resolution: 0.1mm ensures precise prints. Infill: A generous 20% setting will suffice for now. Notes: Refining the holes to a smaller 0.05mm radius will further improve print quality and precision.
