Redox Manuform
thingiverse
I post this as a remix but this is actually a full rework, I give credit to the original author of the Redox keyboard. This model is called Redox Manuform because the second inspiration came from another keyboard design: the Dactyl Manuform. I wanted the Redox layout on an ergonomic design like the Manuform. I tried and failed to generate a Dactyl Manuform version from the original script because that keyboard is supposed to be parametric, so I designed everything from scratch. This started out of simple curiosity for mechanical keyboards and turned into a fun 3D modeling challenge, eventually becoming a fully usable tool I use in my daily life with custom firmware. It was a really fun experience! QMK firmware is awesome. --- Apr 10th edit: As requested in the comments, I added the source file. Be warned that I'm not experienced at modeling so the file is messy. I first tried to declare everything as parameters for customization (angles between keys, spacing) but it didn't work because the outer hull of the keyboard is freeform and won't be updated automatically. It's still useful if you want to change small things like audio jack or screw hole diameters.
With this file you will be able to print Redox Manuform with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Redox Manuform.
