Redline Motor Cover
thingiverse
This year, we're relying on a few rugged redline motors in our robot. They come with tabs that securely connect to wires via soldering, but their delicate design makes them prone to damage if a loose wire gets snagged on something. To safeguard the motor and prevent any potential service loop issues, I designed a protective cover to shield the tabs and loop from harm. When you install it, you may need one or two layers of electrical tape depending on the specific motor model and other factors such as lunar cycles or days remaining until the next leap year.
