Redesigning a Remote

Made this for a Product Design class. Wanted to redesign a remote control to allow for a more fluid control experience and comfortable design. I designed it with the idea that the remote could complete basic functions without the use of the numerical keypad. The channel and volume buttons were replaced with mouse like click wheels and the alphanumeric keypad was covered by a sliding door.
