Center mounted servo bracket for Redcat Gen8 Scout: a DIY solution born out of thriftiness. I opted to fabricate my own rather than splurge on an aluminum one. The design includes two variations - standard bumper height and raised bumper height - so you can choose the look that suits your style. When installing, be prepared to loosen the screws on the frame rails further to allow for proper insertion. No additional hardware is required beyond what comes with the bracket. My personal experience has been positive, thanks in part to my relatively gentle driving style and the stock motor paired with a 2S LiPo battery. However, if your rig packs more punch, results may differ significantly.
