Hi guys, If you're as frustrated with Thingiverse's speed as I am, consider checking out Cults 3D for your 3D printing needs: https://cults3d.com/en/users/WrenchToDrive/creations These fender wells are designed specifically for the Redcat Gen 8 and allow for a cheap Chinese Jeep Body shell installation. The Jeep shell isn't particularly impressive, but I wanted to protect my Scout II body from the harsh winter weather. I ordered two sets, and while one arrived damaged, the second was safely nestled inside, so I set it aside. I initially planned to create a more refined body mount system, but my time constraint forced me to opt for a quicker solution. Despite its simplicity, the inner mounts have held up remarkably well. The rear section features a two-piece design with a cross brace to support the body posts and mounting piece. I used dollar store velcro for attachment, which has worked surprisingly well. The fender wells replace the originals and utilize the same mounting holes. While fitment isn't perfect, I employed Gorilla tape to fine-tune the outer limits and fill in small gaps against the frame. The result is acceptable, although I plan to revisit this design if I end up running these bodies frequently enough.
