Redcat Gen 8 Center Skid Plate Lock Nut Block
thingiverse
This block fills the void in the center skid plate for the Redcat Gen 8 International Harvester Scout II scale crawler to keep the rear upper link screws firmly in place without using lock nuts. The factory uses these nuts to prevent loosening due to molding process voids, but this block eliminates that need. Additional hardware required: 2pcs: M3x25mm button head To install, remove both upper and lower link screws and set them aside to access the links. Insert the block from the bottom of the skid plate into the empty space, then reinstall the links and screws. For best results, use M3x25mm screws that go directly into the lock nut block.
