This accessory plate bolsters the Redcat Gen 8 International Harvester Scout II scale crawler by attaching to the front and/or rear of the vehicle atop the shock tower brace. The goal is to provide extra mounting surface for any add-ons you wish to equip your crawler with. There are two versions available: one permits a 30mm fan to cool the motor, while the other eliminates the fan hole for even more mounting area. To install this accessory plate, you will need: Four M3x??mm button head screws (depending on the fan thickness) when using a fan. Four M3x8mm flat head screws without a fan. The "Gen 8 Accessory Plate For Fan" version requires adding 8mm to the fan's thickness to determine the necessary M3 button head screw length. For example, if your fan measures 10mm thick, you will need four M3x18mm screws. In contrast, the "Gen 8 Accessory Plate Solid" version does not have a fan hole and can be secured with flat head screws.
