I designed this driveshaft boot for the Gen 7 Pro/Sport with Redcat aluminum driveshafts. It fits both at the transmission U-joint and the pinion U-joint. Pinion angles on these are terrible, chowing out U-joints like crazy unless cleaned and oiled constantly... So I came up with CV style boots that fit over the U-joint areas. I pack mine with grease to ensure U-joints stay constantly lubricated. These should be printed in TPU or something similar. Ninja Flex works well; no need for supports. Print it as is. One side of the boot is larger for the shaft itself and gets installed first. When you reach the U-joint, stop and pack that area with grease. Then twist them on the rest of the way. Slide them back just far enough to install the pinion Allen pin. Slide the boot back a touch once the pin is in. These double as loose pin fail safes too; pins can't fall out.
