Redcat Everest 10 skid plate
thingiverse
I designed these skid plate options for the redcat racing Everest 10 or Gen 7 to triangulate the lower links. This offers improved suspension geometry, and additional tire to link clearance for steering. The high clearance "flat" version will raise the transmission ~5mm over stock. On a stock chassis I believe you will need to trim the battery tray to clear the transmission with this version. The flat skid offers the most ground clearance. For my test assembly I used 20mm m3 grub screws to mount the links. On a stock chassis you could also use 25-30mm standard screws. Chassis mount screws (inner holes on the side of the skid) should not be longer than 12mm. The standard version (only because i drew it first) keeps the trans mounted low, ~1mm lower than stock. The link mounts are closer to center will likely require angles rod ends depending on your axle setup. Includes files for redcat and axial trans mount.
