Redcaps are malevolent fey creatures driven by an insatiable bloodlust. They manifest in the Feywild or at locations where creatures act on a deep-seated desire for violence. In order to sustain their existence, redcaps must kill repeatedly. Their pointed red hats require constant immersion in fresh blood, which needs to be replenished every three days to prevent them from vanishing into thin air.
