The beauty of transformation is a wondrous thing, and the tale of Hans Christian Andersen's ugly duckling proved it true. It didn't become a stunning swan overnight, but its remarkable ability to soar through the skies is nothing short of magical. With the help of a mounted mini cam, you can witness this incredible feat firsthand by checking out the video taken here: http://youtu.be/FHDhLBsC3_M As I mentioned earlier on "Red Duck" (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:407766), expanding the wing to an impressive 1950 mm in span required a significant adjustment - a 100 mm longer nose was necessary to compensate for the added weight of the enlarged wing, which tipped the scales at a substantial 400 grams. Watching Marcel from http://www.aero-club-nieder-eschbach.de/ expertly navigate the flying wing through its paces was a thrilling experience, and his mastery of aerobatics culminated in a soft landing that left everyone impressed. You can relive this moment by checking out the video here: http://youtu.be/nOk2-1Ne3AA This video showcases a crash landing that occurred during Inter-Ex 2015, but it's worth noting that the flying wing took home the Innovation Trophy for its remarkable design and functionality.
