New fan shrouds available for Sunlu S8 printers! **Uploaded 5015 Silver Short duct and clamp, designed specifically for new S8's with a 5015 fan** **Updated 4010 shroud to fit Sunlu Silver hot end on all new S8's** ***Important note:*** My S8 has a red MK8 hotend. These files will work with the red hot end or any similar hot end. If you have the funky silver hot end, you'll need a "silver" design that is wider and taller than the MK8 hotend. Also, there are two different heights for the silver hot end - one has a really long heat break (threaded part) and one is shorter. If you have the latest short version, you can use the new "short" duct. ***Important note:*** If your back plate doesn't have 2 notches on the right side, these won't fit! (see pic). Apparently, they've changed the plate at some point - I think mine is the latest version. These are new designs and may require some work. Please provide feedback! I've spent a lot of time on these, so if you can, please leave me a tip - it would really help me out! The 4010 and 4020 have been tested by me and made significant improvements in overhang performance. The 5015 has not been tested yet. I'm now running BL touch with the stock motherboard... **4010 model fits all stock parts.** No cutting wires or mods required. Carefully remove all original fan housing parts and keep the hardware. You can install this using all the stock screws! BL Touch mount can be installed on the right side with 2x M3x10 screws. **4020 model requires a 4020 24V blower.** Also uses stock hardware, but a couple of M3x25 screws can be used to install the blower. BL Touch mount can be installed on the right side with 2x M3x10 screws. **5015 model requires a 5015 24V blower.** This version has the blower on the right side and uses a different clamp file. The BL Touch mount can be installed on the left side. Watch the screw length, don't damage wires inside. FYI: The screw heads don't fit into the 40mm extruder cooling fan so the 4 M3x12mm screws will just get a couple of threads unless you jam the heads into the fan. It works, but using some M3x10 cap screws would be better for that fan. ***BLTouch offsets*** Use the following for the 4010 and 4020 mounts with the sensor on the right side: * #define X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 33 // X offset: -left +right [of the nozzle] * #define Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -10 // Y offset: -front +behind [the nozzle] * #define Z_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 0 // Z offset: -below +above [the nozzle] Use the following for the 5015 mounts with the sensor on the left side: * #define X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -38 // X offset: -left +right [of the nozzle] * #define Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -8 // Y offset: -front +behind [the nozzle] * #define Z_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 0 // Z offset: -below +above [the nozzle] I've also uploaded my Marlin files. I also made some of the mods to make the ABL process faster. You will need to replace the configuration.h and configuration_adv.h files in the marlin code with the ones I have uploaded. There are pictures of where to plug in the sensor wires. They connect to Servo1 and Z-(unplug the z- limit switch).
