I recommend printing it in the four cuts I made but you can print it as a solid piece. I would print and glue the three pieces together and leave the back piece detached. I did this and magnetically attached the back piece. This makes removing and putting on the helmet much easier. Once glued together I recommend covering the entire helmet in woodfiller and then sanding it down starting with 60 grit sand paper and steadily increasing grit. 60, 80, 120, 220, 320, 420, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000 grit is what I did and it yielded a very smooth finish. After that apply about 2-5 coats of gloss black primer until you have a very reflective finish. Then apply one light coat of spax stix mirror chrome spray paint. then one coat of spax stix candy red to get the nice metallic red finish. If you have any questions let me know. Also the scale of the model is set really large you can just size it down when you go to print it.
