Red Henry Double Plössl Eyepiece Body

This is an eyepiece body for a Red Henry Double Plössl 1.25" eyepiece made from the objective lenses of two 35mm binoculars. The inside of the barrel is threaded for glare reduction. I printed the main body in Polymaker PolyTerra matte black PLA and the top cap in Ninjatek Ninjaflex TPU. The lens elements are simply stacked inside (these objectives each have their own aluminum cell.) There are PLA rings internally that take up the space between the lens elements and the wall of the body and allow them to stack neatly; these are dimensioned custom for the specific lenses I used. The ID of the top barrel is 47.5mm The TPU top cap is held on by friction. In these photos I haven't finished post production of the top cap; I'd like to make it less shiny...
