cgtrader
A highly detailed Red hartebeest model with Hair and Fur modifier is provided, built in 3ds Max 2014 and rendered via Vray 3. The scene is ready to render with the given Vray settings. It boasts clean topology based on quads and tris, complete UV unwrapping, and a real-world scale of 1300mm. Exclusions include teeth and tongue; however, fur quality can be improved by increasing hair primitives count. The model features two Hair and Fur nodes: one for the body and another for the tail. This polygonal model is an accurate representation of the original object, with a display unit scale set to mm. In 3ds Max, MeshSmooth function can be used to enhance mesh resolution if necessary. Textures and materials are included in every format, and models are grouped and named for ease of scene management. No special plug-ins or cleanup is required; simply drop the model into your scene and start rendering. Vray is needed to open the Max scene. The textures formats and resolutions include Hartebeest skin (4096x4096), Kudu skin reflect (4096x4096), Hart reflect (4096x4096), and Horn6 displ (4096x4096). Rigging was done via CAT object, offering simple walking and showcasing possibilities in animation. Note: Vray is required for the Max scene, and 'hair and fur spline curves' are included in max and fbx files or can be used as guides with different Fur/Hair plugins.
